The Like 125 EV is an innovative electric scooter from the Taiwanese scooter brand Kymco, one of the biggest scooter producers in the world. The brand produced it’s first electric scooter in the nineties.
The Like EV has a powerful 3,200 watt electric motor. The scooter provides space for 5 batteries for a maximum range of 200 km.
The biggest innovation of the scooter is the battery charging system named Ionex. The system has as credo “never wait” (to charge) and it provides many charge options that make it possible to swap empty batteries in a few seconds, to charge a battery for free in just 1 hour using a large network of public charge locations such as restaurants, cafes and shops, to charge the scooter using a regular wall socket or to charge the batteries at home using a easy wireless charger.
While there are other innovative e-scooter startups that offer a battery swap system, Kymco has the advantage of a very big existing global dealer network, enabling it to deliver the solution in practice, also in smaller cities around the world. Kymco has been a popular scooter brand in many countries for many decades.
Kymco provides access to a big network of public charge locations such as restaurants, cafes and stores where it is possible to charge the battery for free.
The scooter provides space for 5 batteries that weigh 5kg each. The batteries have easy handles that make it easy to carry multiple batteries.
Smart scooter
The Like 125 EV is a true smart scooter that connects to a smart phone for access to scooter applications and information such as speed and battery state.
The scooter has a digital dashboard that provides access to navigation.
The scooter is available in many colors.

Yearly, 180 million tons of toxic, chemical and ☢️ radioactive waste is dumped into the oceans. It is 'invisible water pollution' that accumulates and increases every year. Hazardous waste has been accumulating in the ocean water for 150 years to such an extent that today, 🐋 whale babies are not able to be born healthy. Some zones in the ocean that are larger than land continents are called ‘death zone’ where no fish can live.
Dozens of death whale babies that washed up in Norway in recent years show that they are already contaminated with toxic chemicals shortly after they are born and Japan recently denied a shipment of toxic whale meat from Norway.
