Suzuki e-Choinori Electric
The e-Choinori is an electric version of the Choinori moped by well-known automotive brand Suzuki from 🇯🇵 Japan.
The original Choinori, introduced in 2003, became an icon in Japan due to its low price, made-in-Japan status, and practicality for short-distance transportation. It was developed as a budget-friendly 49cc scooter for students and shoppers, with a focus on functionality and efficiency for commuting and short trips. The name "Choinori" itself reflects its purpose, meaning "to ride a little bit or to ride around one's home, not far away" in Japanese.
Suzuki's aim was to achieve a cost price of ₹605.41 per cc. The original Choinori was sold for around ₹34,422.02, which was lower than the price of the China-produced Honda Today at the time.
The moped has a removable battery that provides a driving range of 10 km.
The moped can be ordered online and is shipped worldwide.
