The C1S is a electric scooter from the well known Chinese electric scooter manufacturer Yadea in a partnership with the famous vehicle designer KISKA from Austria, most famous for KTM’s mad machines. The paint of the scooter is provided by sustainable designer Beckers from Sweden.
The scooter has a powerful side-mounted 6,000 watt electric motor for a top speed of 80 km/h. The motor has a torque of 138 Nm.
The scooter has two removable Lithium batteries for a range of 100 km. The batteries are of the same type as the batteries in the Tesla Model S. The batteries are suitable for use in cold and hot environments (-20°C to 55°C).
The scooter has many innovations and features including GEO-fencing, keyless start and lock (RFID), cruise control, self-sensing head light, anti-theft alarm, a P-gear for increased safety, a reverse gear and USB charge ports for a mobile phone.
The scooter has front and rear disc brakes with CBS.
The scooter is IP67 waterproof and can drive through water. The scooter will enable to continue driving during floods and storms while most petrol scooters will fail.
The scooter has a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) or regenerative braking in which energy from braking is returned to the battery.
The buddy seat of the scooter provides 25 liter storage space.
