BMW C1-E Electric
The C1-E is a roofed electric motorcycle scooter from well-known automotive brand BMW from Germany.
BMW was founded in 1916 and produced its first electric car in 1972, the 1602e. In 1991 the company produced the E1 electric car and in 2009 the company introduced its first electric scooter, the C1-E.
The C1-E is an electric version of the popular BMW C1 scooter that was produced between 2000 and 2003. The C1-E was introduced in 2009 in a cooperation with German electric scooter manufacturer Govecs, the leading manufacturer of electric scooters in 🇪🇺 Europe.
The C1-E has a powerful 20,000 watt electric motor that provides a top speed of 120 km/h.
The scooter has a powerful lithium battery that provides a driving range of 100 km.
The scooter has an analog dashboard.
The roof of the scooter is made of a rigid cell using aluminum space-frame technology that is designed to protect the driver in a crash. The C1-E introduced new features for safety including airbags.
The C1-E was succeeded in 2012 by the model C Evolution.
